Special awards evening, November 2006
A special awards ceremony was held in November 2006 at Institut Denis Shink to pay tribute
to honour students, disciples, and the assistant instructor of the year.
2006 Wudang Camp Seminars (Internals and externals styles)
Over 100 participants attended the two seminars in 2006.
- Participants were introduced to the first steps of different styles
of Tai Chi Chuan—the old Yang-style, the traditional Yang-style,
the traditional Wu-style, and the traditional Sun-style.
- Applications of Qi Gong (Chi Kung), Push Hands, and health-promoting
exercises were on the program.
- The demonstrations of Wing Chun Kung Fu, Hung Gar Kuen, staff handling,
two-man form, and the application and theory of close-range and group combat
were greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank the students from the two institutes for their exemplary behaviour and respect.
We would also like to thank Réjanne and Do for their excellent work in organizing the two seminars
(preparations, meals, set up, and reservations). And we would be remiss if we didn’t express our
gratitude to Sylvain and Sylvie for their hard work before and during the seminars.
